... and the 770 has better buttons on the top edge which it looks like the N810 has learned lessons from.

But I agree ... software-wise, the N800 is better in superior in all other respects. With the coming OS2008 boosting the CPU speed, it is even better.

If you really want a 770, you can always try ebay; there are plenty of deals out there. Plus if you are comfortable buying used you can get one for pretty close to $100.
I saw one today for a "buy it now" proce of $95 with shipping.
