I just tryed on my Jolla but everything seems fine:
- take a photo with CameraPlus
- check the gallery
- take a photo with SF
- check the gallery
both photos are present. Am I missing something?

Not sure. I tried reproducing it here (update 8) and everything works fine too.

Hmm. I emptied the pictures folder and tested again. The pic files have the running three digit number in the file name. For some reason at the moment sf cam is naming files with numbers ending 04* and cameraplus 05*.

The problem seemed to get fixed after I took enough pictures with sf cam so that the number got bigger than what cameraplus was producing. Now both apps name the files like they should UNTIL I deleted a picture taken earlier. It was number 056. The newest pic was number 063. Then I took a pic with cameraplus and got a picture numbered 064. Then I took another pic with sf cam and now it replaced the picture number 064. So the problem comes if you delete an older pic, it seems.

It can be reproduced with jolla camera alone:
1) launch jolla camera and take 2 photos
2) close jolla camera and launch jolla gallery
3) delete the first image and close jolla gallery
4) open jolla camera and capture 2 images
5) close jolla camera and open gallery
Notice that jolla camera overwrote the 2nd image too.

I filed an internal bug against camera. No need to post on together.jolla.com

I'm sorry if you were asked this question a lot of times
But if there any opportunity to have HDR option in camera plus? Thanks in advance.

It will happen at some point but not in the near future unfortunately. The HW claims to support it but I have not tried it yet at all.

The bitrate is still the same for all video resolutions? I'm still getting huge files when recording. Is that something you'll be able to correct in a not too distant future? Maybe custom bitrates as well.

If it's not in the change log then it has not been implemented yet.

I will do it when I get to it. I have one idea on how to implement it but I need to prototype it and see how it works in reality.

As for custom bitrate: I will not be adding custom bitrate. It will be however possible to modify it by editing the configuration files to adjust it since I don't hardcode stuff usually. It will be overwritten though when a new release gets out.

Thanks for the info MSameer. I'll keep holding my breath then and read the change log thoroughly.

Btw, I tried sequential shots and it seems to work quite nicely. The text "sequential" is a little too close to the icon in the menu, but other than that it's all good.

BTW sequential shots mode has more options if you flick to the settings view
