http://nokia-n900.com/nokia-n900-maemo-game-galaga/

Credits go to the original poster for uncovering Galaga.

For whatever reason, these Namco games are only available in Malaysia-Singapore region. You have to browse through proxy to install them. (I am not sure if it's legal to distribute .install files)

Both games are free and of very good quality. Galaga is touch-controlled only. To me, the single-touch limitation of N900 takes away some fun factor. Pacman is also touch-controlled, but the control makes better sense here and the game is really fun to play.

They can be downloaded with the patched apt released by MAG some time ago. I have used it before to install Galaga.

Though, I don't know why, OVI and Nokia repos seem to be empty today. Whenever I try to install something from OVI Store the package doesn't exist in the repos. Has anyone else noticed this? The servers don't appear to be down.

Weird! I thought the server was down since I noticed it yesterday.

I haven't touched the repository configuration. Still have:

url: https://downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle1.2/ovi/
distribution: ./

And the Nokia official repositories, but they are completely empty! On the other side, all Extras repositories are fine.

I've tried to apt-get clean and apt-get update but still can't see anything on them.
