Learning to code is certainly a productive step. However, in case that is what is being implied, I don't see anything wrong with requests such as this. The open source community is not made up of just coders. Users are vital as well for many reasons. Sometimes squeaky wheels are what is needed to motivate or inspire development.

Of course, there are etiquette rules for requests, but I don't think this one is out of line.

freoffice+freoffice-online-services-plugin.

It downloads, edits and uploads google docs, not editing online.
