I don't know if a phone called 'oysters' can have any success but i said the same regarding the 'iphone' (ei-phone in German) :-)

Have anybody checked in git if SailfishOS supports mediatek chips?
Somehow I doubt it.

Thats mean any possibilities to port it to another MTK chipset.

the most advanced Sailfish OS phone to date? I doubt that... Aren't they familair with Turing Phone?

MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor, along with the Mali-T720 MP3 GP

I wonder if Jolla will attempt an aarch64 sfos on it or not.

Android buttons? Honestly?! Doesn't seem the are going to make any effort to produce a new device - 'just' porting SFOS to an existing Android phone

dang my device is MTK 32b, woogh seems litle chance to getting ported to it, they're unavailable in my country, so i hope someone port it to another SoC.
