I'm afraid you're going to have to do what it says. Hit ok and try again.

Disk space? http://wiki.maemo.org/Free_up_rootfs_space might help...

Shouldn't be a rootfs disk space problem for easy debian, but it could be a disk space problem on the large partition.

I've been having this problem - but I think it is my download speed. I hit my ISP ADSL ceiling, and they have cut me down to modem speeds. none of the downloads were finishing, I also tried over WiFi to a router that runs of a mobile usb stick - like 2-3 hours and only 3% downloaded. I tried using the phones own data connection, and had to kill them because the phone started getting really hot. Battery life is zilch since then.

Somebody suggested somewhere downloading the image to PC and then copying it across, but I'm not clear where you can get it from.

Ta.

You can usually get the images through qole.org.
If you download and extract on PC, then you should be able to copy it onto the n900.
