Nice find

But why the **** have Nokia not implemented that in the Email conversation. That function would have more use there.

a) When I write a new SMS with my keyboard I don't get an mouse pointer when swiping from left to right

b) in existing conversation when swiping from left I get mouse pointer. In order to select text I first need to tab on the pointer (gettin red line) otherwise it will not work.

c) holding down for copy does not work for me if I have just portion of text selected. Only works without mouse pointer and holding down on all of the text.

Is this correct or am I doing something wrong?

I wrote in another thread that I used iPhones for only about 15 min in my life (10 were fishing) but where Apple seems to be way better is plain usability: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHT6DHRc80k

Nokia should cut and paste that from Apple :-)

Regards Markus

yes you are right. even though it's highlighted but you can't hold and copy. seem like the function is half bake as well.

It doesn't work for me. I'm probably doing something wrong. If you hold down the button on a text in SMS, then Forward, Copy, and Delete show up. This has been here since the day I got the phone.

I can't believe I haven't noticed this. For the record it works as it should in all my conversation windows. ctrl-c to copy.

It may have been there pre-PR1.0, the conversations app is essentially a browser that opens up the template for a conversation.

You dont need a mouse on speed test i use it all the time and dont use the mouse and i use the full site version not a java app.
