Together with Jolla our aim is to reach significant sales volumes." The contract signed allows Jolla to cooperate with the D.Phone Group retail chain; together the companies have a shared target to achieve significant sales volumes in China’s 150 million smartphone market. For developing business in China it is very important that D.Phone is a strategic partner with China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom.[15] Previously China Telecom was an important member of the MeeGo project. It is not confirmed but quite probable that Jolla has shown Chinese partners, before anybody else, a secret prototype of a smartphone, what has consequently has allowed the parties to sign such the important contract mentioned above.
