You need kernel-power-settings though.
I still find the cleanest way to just edit pmconfig, read the wiki pages mentioned above for how to.

No, sorry, I don't have any free time lately, hopefully will have by the end of April.

P.S. maybe someone should gather a list of my pending tasks

And all 5 of them (except "default") are depreciated, if you use KP and freeman"s fixed smartreflex, as it adjust voltages on the fly. In such case, manual undervolting may be actually harmful for battery life (as compared to recalculated smartreflex), not only for stability. Just for the record.

OK, I've performed all the steps and now my N900 is running CSSU-Thumb with all programs I need (except BlessN900), and I like it . The device is running with limits 250-900, and smartreflex enabled (testing its' stability). So I have a couple questions.

1. Video and youtube playback are great without smartreflex but when I have Conky turned on (to monitor what's current frequency etc.) it lags - is it OK?

2. How do I monitor cpu voltage and frequency, possibly without lags?

Not directly related to your main question, but I suggest watching youtube video via cutetube. You save on having browser + 23544354 unneeded parts of youtube page loaded. This way, you can view (flawlessly) a one or two step higher quality videos.

Twe fact that it lags when you have conky in background seems to indicate that you're hitting performance limits with sole site + video, and conky pushes it a little over the edge.

About frequency:
watch -n 1 cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpu_cur_freq
This is the only way I know to see the freq without influencing (like using conky).
About voltages IDK. Best guess look in your kernel profile, but with SR enabled they are are calculated on the fly aiui.

So there is absolutely no way to monitor them? =\

kernel-config show

Will display voltages set by sr, plus some margin, was it 3 points?

Thanks, I thought kernel-config show displays values unrelated to SR. Also, is there a possibility that voltages lower than set by SR work fine?
