I don't see you posting this in the MacOS thread, or the windows 95 thread. Stop being a bias fanboy this is neat stuff.
Edit: Flaming aside, it doesn't look like it works very well, bordering unusable. Doesn't contribute much to the device except some nice publicity.

I'd be all over that! I'd love Ubuntu on my phone, if only they could write a solid phone application for it. Too bad I don't know anything about programming!

We already have Easy Debian running on the n900.
Now a developer managed to run Ubuntu 8.04 on a X1:
