Chen is doing a tab based on an implemented architecture. How about doing a phone and using architecture from Turing? Jolla has software for it too. Chen did you check it out already?
Doing this for the tablet is because I found the company actually doing the origin design, and helped them to re-launch the product with the same design.
To do this we need a lots of designing files that are mostly confidential.
I don't know anyone in Turing, and I can't and won't get those files.
Furthermore, the Turing solution is based on Qualcomm MSM8974, which is 3 years old and no longer produced anymore. The architecture is very old and it's 32bit based on 28nm.
As I mentioned I'm working towards a newer Qualcomm 64bit solution with 14nm architecture, which will give you a much better power-efficiency ratio. There is no reason to re-use an ancient SoC where there is a better one available.
I seriously doubt, that anybody with a sane mind would invest any effort in reviving TRI-s zombie project. Yes I know you will always find someone to buy it, ...
