Does anyone know of some sites where I can easily obtain working internet radio streams for the N800?

Since it came loaded with an Accuradio stream, I tried there but cannot find any links that work. Am I missing something?

It seems everytime I enter a stream link in, I get the "format not supported message".

Thanks,

Jason

I really like http://www.live365.com/index.live . Create an account, then search on artists, genres, etc. Streams sound very good on the N800.

freeman, mplayer will play the WM streams. I use this to listen to WEEI in Boston.

mplayer -fs -vo x11 -ao gst -cache 200 http://wmc2.liquidcompass.cc/WEEI?MSWMExt=.asf

Sky in the UK has a ton of good streams. www.sky.fm. You can even browse there with the N800 and choose the streams. My favorities are the top hits and smooth jazz.

I add the SKY FM streams to my favorites. Go to the Sky FM site from your Nokia, click on the 96k Winamp link for the stream you want. Your audio player will start and you will see the tracks listed. The first one will be the song currently playing... the rest just say.. "02 SKY . FM .............etc

If you click and hold on one of the tracks that say "SKY . FM....." a menu will appear. You can then select "Add to favorite" and it will now be selectable from your Internet radio applet.

Yeah shoutcast is really the best site available for world wide based archive of stations.

You have the power to search any genre in any country!

You can also stream these radio stations using Winamp on your PC/Mac if you didn't know already

Thread revival to help out other new owners:

I second the www.sky.fm statement. It is too simple. I got it working in seconds.
