I'm using a Nokia 6230 and have a GPRS subscribtion with my provider.
When I surf durectly from the phone (6230) no problem to establish GPRS connection and surf.

But when I try to connect from the 770, my 6230 establishes a GRPS connection, and the the phone shows me the following error message : SUBSCRIBE TO GPRS FIRST. And then disconnect, and the 770 indicated a server error.

Anyone any idea ?

Can you connect to the phones Memory Card? (pairing first) can you see the Memory card in the filemanager? If yes.
Then maybe the settings in the phone are wrong.

Checking tablet settings:
Go: Connection Manager - Tools - Connection settings... / Do you see there the name of a GPRS connection you gave earlyier? If yes what does it say when you select it and tap beneath "Connections"?
Is there your phone?
If not
Select "New". and follow instructions.

If yes: in my settings it says after hitting "edit" then choose your gprs, then next - the access point is : "internet.proximus.be" (proximus is my provider)
dial-up number *99***1#
User name: empty
password: empty

When you set -up a phone all these settings are copied from the phone in the step by step wizard.

I hope this can maybe help.
