Hello friends!
I have a problem with a vibe, a little bit work and a little bit does not work.
during a call when it should vibrate, the device can hear the sound of the motor vibrator!
Do you change the vibrator and how it's complicated!?

I have tried: reset the device(does not work)
when i shake the device it starts to work vibrator

thanks !

Quick reply...
If it's hardware problem, it's easier to go to Nokia support.
I cannot even recognize where exactly this vibrator is situated, much less what could be broken inside it.
The most reputable site for genuine N900 parts. You can ask them about vibrator-motor, if Nokia support is not available for some reason.
Best wishes...

It's possible for the vibrator to get stuck after a shock, like when you drop your phone.

Chances are that it can be unjammed. I had the same thing happen with my non-Nokia phone, took it to a phone repair shop, took them a day (probably because they were busy), and payed a minimal amount for their time.

In that case you won't even need a new part, and since you do hear the motor working, I'm pretty sure that part is still good.

the best you can do is disassemble your n900.

look at it and see if it is well fixed to the main board.

you will see it below the button battery.

regards

Look at this thread: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...18#post1300018

There is a command that you can run in terminal, then try to (gently) git the phone in your hand, you might get it unjammed (see the thread for more details). It worked for me half an hour ago.
