As far as I've understood, Blue Maemo does more of the opposite, it makes the tablet (n900 etc.) work as a keyboard and mouse for the computer.

The enabling part is finished[1]. I didn't packaged the app yet, because it is almost useless since you can use only letters in the majority of the BT keyboards. I contacted the responsible for that area in order to know more about the reasons for the removal of the generic keyboards, but didn't get any reply so far . I can try to dig more about this but can be a great waste of time if they removed it for a reason

Thank you, let's hope they'll answer soon. I can't really see why they wouldn't allow anything but letters, let's hope it's just a bug.

Hi everyone -

I hope the BT keyboard issue will gain traction. It's practically a deal-breaker for me if it won't work. I use an Apple BT keyboard on an e61 and it's godlike, even with an AZERTY French layout. There is another thread on this topic in the forum: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...tooth+keyboard

I would help if I could, but what can I do but wait?
