Can you give me the URLs to the feeds? Then I'll take a look and try to fix it for the next release.

Jolla blogs have to stop rephrase news :P

The client is made by one of spotify devs, but it's his own project and for now it's not released officially, so it's mostly unofficial (as we had opera for maemo and n9), the question if it woulld be released for public usage.

Yes, developed in freetime for Spotify Hackweek 2014 and 2015 by Mario Bob Jelica and a coworker. Those devs certainly want to publish it but don't have the power to decide that. They suggested though that Jolla/Spotify users keep voting here:

It crashed before and after updating with http://feeds.arstechnica.com/arstechnica/index
