All of a sudden my web browser doesnt work anymore and i dont know why. I try to use the book marks and it just hands. the page never loads. I try to type a web address in manually and the same things happens any ideas on hwo to correct this?

Open Xterminal, become root, try to ping www.google.com.

This sounds as if you've lost your internet connection, had your /etc/resolv.conf file damaged or your routing table fsck:ed up.

microb doesnt load for me either. firefox works fine, but microb just tries to load and then fails without opening the microb browser window.

Have you tried Chromium or Tear browsers??

I have the same problem....solves with a reboot.IP is fine & ping is fine....mozilla also works....and it reoccurs after a while

I had that issue yesterday. Did you install anything previously that might have affected it?

shut down
remove battery
put it back
power up
test again

this problem seemed to have resolved on its owne. thanks every one for your suggestions
