Hello all, sorry if my first post seems like shameless self promotion but I've been reading these forums and have found them to be really helpful, and I wanted to share. I recently reviewed a PSP case from Slappa that was "ok" for a PSP case, but is actually great for the Nokia 770! The 770 fits right where the PSP does, and the elastic does a good job of holding it in place. I use it everyday to carry my 770 around and thought I'd pass along the link. Also, you can use the coupon code "gadgetmadness" and save 10% off your order. (Disclosure: I don't make anything off the Slappa purchase.)

I was just wondering if anyone has found a nice case from http://www.pdair.com/welcome.php for their 770. Let me know if you have. Looks like they make quality cases.

how are we supposed to find it in that site if they don't list it?

I don't know. I am just going with an Otterbox 2000. They look durable as hell. The dimensions are good. And they are cheap. It's worth it to keep my brand new 770 safe. http://www.otterbox.com/products/otterbox/2000/

I purchased the Otterbox 2000 and I am impressed with the quality of the case. It looks and feels like one could drive over it with a vehicle and the 770 would survive. The only nitpick is that there is approx 3/8" of "play" side to side when the 770 is in the box. This can easily be fixed with some paper towels or other packing.

You can also use a now discontinued RhinoSkin Aluminum or Titanium Slider for the original Handspring Palm units. Fits fine.

Rather than start a new thread wonder if I can just kick start this one, I relaise there are some other threads but like this not all are recent.

I was looking at the Proporta Leather case for the 770 here. This also appears to be the same case as listed on here and currently Ebay. Are they all the same ?

I'm assuming from the pictures that these cases take "just the 770" and not the silver outer casing supplied originally. Would anybody know if these incluide any sort of magnet that puts the unit into standby with the case closed ?

The Piel Frama cases look nice but the price is a little frightning

eBay also has some Aluminium options such as this one but again I wonder if they have a magnet fited for standby mode.

Any inupt from case owners would be appreciated.

TIA & Best Rgds
