That option would take some messing about with the soldering iron, and i own a N800 anyways so i have space for 2x full size SD cards

I meant smaller in terms of capacity, otherwise they are normal SD cards - no soldering or other hardware hacking required. Example (though I don't know it the N8x0's other electronics are capable of achieving the claimed 30MB/s throughput).

Nuts, i should have guessed there was some kind of insane photographic sd card out there. But then i figured that all serious photographic gear was using CF anyways.

I am wondering whether this will work with a micro SDXC in the N900?

In essence, SDXC is seen as SDHC by card readers. The major problem is the file system, not the physical hardware. Pesky software patents...

I just tested my 128 GB sdxc card in my nokia n800 and it works.

a 64 GB Micro SDXC with SDXC Adapter from Sandisk works, too

Can someone post links to these products so I know what to exactly look for next time I hit up Best Buy or something?

I think it's time that I go big too.
