HI All,

Recently im facing a problem with my N900 that the camera app is not working. I installed the CSSu in the mobile.

Not sure from when its stopped working. But currently the camera is not working.

when i open the camera shutter, the camera application is opened but when i switch on the camera button nothing happening.

Flash light appliation is installed long back but both functionalities were working fine. But now when i start the flashlight app i get the error msg saying "unable to initalize the flash light camera in use by other application" but there are no other apps running.

Any help would be appreciated.

try removing all the other apps and check if it's working .
else it's clear from what you have written that after installing cssu it's not working.
try googling with cssu no camera talk.maemo.org may be it will lead you to that page as this issue has already been mentioned here but cant remember the exact place :$

Hi, I have had the same problem. I'm using the extra-devel power-user kernel. Camera works as expected since I removed camera-driver-module (sorry, I can't remember the correct name) with the application manager.
