I have successfully setup VOIP/SIP calls on my brand new N900. I can make outgoing calls with the dial pad as long as I set the calls to SIP first. This is not a problem.

The problem is if I want to call someone from my contact list using SIP. if I select someone from the contact list, it always defaults to cellular -- I have no way to change it to SIP. How do i make sip calls to someone in my contact list without have to punch in the actual number?

go to the contact and edit, add field, sip

put the number in there too. then you will have a sip call button in their contact record.

i think that is the only way, currently
