Might be easier to just change your signature. Assuming that signatures are independent from the post content.

http://internettablettalk.com/forums...con#post233623 As far as I'm aware, there hasn't been much of an update on that since this post. A new version of libwebkit is needed, but, due to its dependencies, Bundyo is having trouble getting it working.

I try to compile latest cvs tear version from garage.
First problem was
error: libpcre not found in specified Vala API directories
error: conic not found in specified Vala API directories
error: gdk-keysyms not found in specified Vala API directories
I just copied
cp vapis/libpcre.vapi vapis/conic.vapi vapis/gdk-keysyms.vapi /usr/share/vala/vapi/

Then
downloadmanager.vala:179.34-179.51: error: The type name `WebKit.WebDownload' could not be found
downloadmanager.vala:189.26-189.43: error: The type name `WebKit.WebDownload' could not be found
downloadmanager.vala:197.27-197.44: error: The type name `WebKit.WebDownload' could not be found
downloadmanager.vala:209.24-209.41: error: The type name `WebKit.WebDownload' could not be found
downloadmanager.vala:209.61-209.83: error: The type name `WebKit.WebDownloadError' could not be found

I use http://bundyo.org/maemo/webkit/libwe...1137-8_all.deb

You should use all the vapis from the Tear dir, not just these three.

Sorry for stupid question
How?
I made backup copy of the same vapis file in /usr/share/vala/vapi/
and copied from tear sources

One way is what you did - replace all the vapis in /usr/share/vala/vapi
Also Vala should be 0.5.7.

If you still get those errors above - it means somehow you're using older webkit.vapi.

Something which has been annoying me for a while: When displaying a larger-than-viewport image file in Tear, tapping it will cycle between 100% zoom and zoom-to-fit. Unfortunately, dragging the 100% zoom version will also register as a tap on release (i.e. despite the movement), switching it to zoom-to-fit, which, well, is sort of at odds with wanting to view it at 100% and panning around.
