I don't know how to test this . I tried to install opptimizer and it fails .

RM696-21-3_PR_001:/home/user/MyDocs# dpkg -i opptimizer_1.5.4_armel.deb
Selecting previously deselected package opptimizer.
(Reading database ... 47192 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking opptimizer (from opptimizer_1.5.4_armel.deb) ...
aegis-installing opptimizer (from '')
Package opptimizer: denied 'tcb' -- origin '' does not allow it
Package opptimizer: denied 'tcb' for '/opt/opptimizer/bin/oppldr' -- origin '' does not allow it
Package opptimizer: denied 'CAP::sys_module' for 'opptimizer:pptimizer' -- origin '' does not allow it
Setting up opptimizer (1.5.4) ...
RM696-21-3_PR_001:/home/user/MyDocs#

To check if you are in open mode or not, type in "accli -I" in terminal.

You were suppose to do this when installing opptimizer:
/usr/sbin/incept opptimizer_1.5.4_armel.deb
/usr/sbin/incept opptimizer-ui_1.2.7_armel.deb

And this is after you install inception.

If you want to install it without inception and in open mode, do this:
devel-su
rootme
cd /home/user/MyDocs

AEGIS_FIXED_ORIGIN=com.nokia.maemo dpkg -i opptimizer_1.5.4_armel.deb

AEGIS_FIXED_ORIGIN=com.nokia.maemo dpkg -i opptimizer-ui_1.2.7_armel.deb

accli -l shows me few credentials but AEGIS_FIXED_ORIGIN works well and faster .

Credentials:

GID::root
CAP::chown
CAP::fsetid
CAP::setgid
CAP::setuid
CAP::net_bind_service
CAP::sys_chroot
CAP::sys_resource
CAP::sys_tty_config
GRP::root
GRP::adm
GRP::dialout
GRP:ulse-access

Hi, I meant, that the links provided by wolke are the links for the PR1.1 version.
Since we are at PR1.3 (and downgrade is not viable/wishable/possible afaik) it would be good to include the current link to the patched kernel (see my last post).

There is actually no "unpatched" kernel anymore under maemo.cloud-7.de. You get it anyway by resetting to normal mode.

And the BigScaryWarning works as you added, but you could remove it from the list of 'won't work' ... to avoid confusion.

Yes, that's all. I just found it confusing when going to open mode and using your thread as a focal point of information.
Thank you.

Thank you.
Feel free to copy everything in that post, edit it, & then post back into this thread.
I will then add it to the OP (with references to you for providing the update)...

Cheers.

When I turn on my n9, all my accounts are signed out, and it asks me for my passwords. It only happens when I turn on my phone after turning it on. I recently installed nitdroid if that helps. Or maybe I just clicked a security feature on on accident?

byteninja2,

You are now in open mode so you have to delete your accounts by deleting 3 directories via typing the following in terminal:

Code:
rm -rf /home/user/.aegis
rm -rf /home/user/.accounts
rm -rf /home/user/.activesync
Reboot and then set-up your accounts again; it won't ask for passwords after the first reboot...
