According to Storage Usage, HoopsFrenzy occupies 4.4MB in
/usr/games/hoopsfrenzy/

The other default games are not optified at all, so you should move your nice game to /opt or our N900s' rootfs will be soon filled up.

No worries even if you flash simply download the game again and restart it... the key is based on your phone IMEI, even if the firmware is overwritten the IMEI is unique to your phone and you can re-activate the game at any time.

Cheers,

I'll buy it ASAP, but I'd like to suggest you to put it in the OVI Store, so it's much more visible for those users who aren't subscribed to the forum.
Of course, the OVI store should fix the apt-get-install-paid-content-for-free before you can sell it.
However it's always a good news to hear about some good games ported to the N900, thank's guys!!!

First of all congratulations and thanks for working on the Maemo platform.

I agree with the prior post that distributing the game though the OVI store would better for visibility of your products, but also to avoid dealing with yet another repository (same could apply to Mozilla's).

Anyway, I'd like to suggest you to allow some kind of 'demo' mode, just for testing game-playing before purchasing the game.

Good luck!

Ok the install path of the game is now in /opt, can someone confirm with me that everything works properly?

For those who already purchase the game simply uninstall it and re-install it again...

Lemme know if you guys have any trouble...

TIA,

Cheers,

We will put it on the OVI store... we just didn't have the time to pass through the 40 pages of QA + the 2 weeks of approval process... for now we've decided to self-publish it analyze the response then go forward...

Cheers,

The screen rotation is the opposite of the one we use to have.
The speaker should go on the top, not on the bottom.
A better way to quit is also desirable and as suggested by ivgalvez a demo would be great.
However it's a nice game and I hope to see more games in the future.
