install unzip and unrar. i think they are in extras-devel.
question to TMO pips, how do i vote for an app so it can get out of devel and testing?

i think one of the filemanagers available had zip support.

someone please confirm which one if the above is true.

Atleast Filebox has support for zip files.

just to add on what i said. installing unzip and unrar will enable you to unzip and unrar directly from your file manager. they add functionality to the file manager and are not really separate apps.

how to add a extras devel? same do in n900? edit the sources.list file..?

please read the warnings. AFTER installing unzip and unrar from that repository "DISABLE IT" and "IGNORE" all other updates that you will see while it is enabled.
it is very important because you might end up installing unstable updates on your phone. hope this helps.

just checking, you are aware that this is about N9 / N950, not N900?
