Very good roguelike game. Much better than ToME 3.x.x or ToME 4.x.x. Can someone port this to maemo?

Sorry for my poor English

Got it compiled, but while menus, char creation, char animations and overworld map all work very well, city looks very strange (something is not displaying as in pic3).
EDIT2: very strange. Rooms seem to be rendered well as in pic4 prison corridors, but not all, sometimes you just see one tile around char :/

LOL, I believe choice of hobbit vampiric cutpurse assassin was unlucky (blinded by sunlight in town maybe?), but compiled 2.3.9 and started fighting with sdl version. Then I made another char, facepalm. 2.3.9 breaks on new char generation (closes xterm in fact, bad crash), so 2.3.5 it is.

Dear sweet fancy Moses.

That's the font you have to use szopin?

I think that I would be bitter too with that. *lol*

Hey szopin, I'm getting around 17 *.raw errors at startup.

Are you getting the same?

I'm not sure what all files and folders' permissions need to be set.

Anyway, it made it to the character selection screen but I'd thought to post to you first and hear what you had to say on this.

Thanks!

Hmm, no errors here. Managed to get few characters dead in different areas, the only prob was getting ambushed and ending surrounded by trees without any way to move once. It is using Angband engine, so Aapo's diablo version might've provided you with necessary libs (this one compiled with gcc 4.4 though so might segfault at some point, hopefully not).

Okay.

I'll continue on with this and see how far I can get.

This is my favorite Angband variant so many cheers for this!

By the way, any idea why it would skip all of those .raw files or what they are used for in the game?

Just delete them, they get generated when you run the game, contain scores. Might be that raw files generated by my running are not compatible with your device. Should run without them. Try 'rm lib/data/*.raw' Edit _in the directory with binary (where you extracted the tgz)_ /Edit and running again (score .raw is hiding in lib/apex)

Okay. I think I need to create a directory in /home/user/ for the save files.

Next time I play again I'll tell you exactly where it's trying to look for these.

Well, so far I've been underground in the dungeon, imprisoned, beaten to death, and suffered horrible, searing pain and agony.

Perfect! *lol*

No crashes either, and wow, does this ever play fast on my tablet!

Thank you so much szopin!
