Hi hedayat, tks for answering (and developing it!)
I've cloned your devel branch and I'm trying to compile it for Desktop (amd64) just to see if it I can make it run locally. I'm new in Qt programing and I'm using Qt Creator 2.3.1 (based on Qt 4.7.4). I'm not sure this is the same env you have developed or if I'm doing something wrong as there are not so many resources today in the internet explaining how to setup the env. Any help is appreciated

You should use Harmattan SDK to be able to build & run the main application. You should be able to find the links to download & install it somewhere in this forum. You can run it using harmattan SDK, but it won't run on your Desktop using the installed Qt.

so, if it's a problem develop a telegram app, why don't we try to create something based on telegram web? I can already use it with meefox, but it's slow and some features aren't functioning (such as photo and file transfer).
Would it easier to create some kind of browser (or update something that already exist) that works for web.telegram instead of a new app?
cheers

Why we should do that if someone can make a native app for harmattan?

One question.
tgl seems to be a bit troublesome when it comes to cross compilation.
How did you manage to cross compile it for harmattan?

IIRC, there were some problems building tgl to link with my app, but I don't remember doing anything specifically for harmattan. And I think I've fixed the issues in my own fork of tgl (dev branch) in github. The fixes should have gone into tgl master and/or test branch too.

If I've done anything special, I don't remember it now :P I'll try to make building my app easier as soon as I can re-start working on it.

Just a quick UI/graphics suggestion.
Being strict about MeeGo colour spectrum, MeeTeleGram fits well
as an original blue icon rather than green one.
That's just a humble opinion.
And how about a shorter name?

Not THAT much! It can register you, and might print your contact list in console. Wait two months, there might be some news
