Does anyone else have any other suggestions? I tried the above suggestions and it still can't find some dependencies- libglade2-0, libsdl-ttf2.0-0, and libgdbm3.

Thanks much

Here's what worked for me:
Application manager->Tools->Application catalog->extras->details

"Web address:" was "http://repository.maemo.org/extras". I removed "extras" from the URL and refreshed the applications list. This info I obtained from this page...
http://pymaemo.garage.maemo.org/ in the "Installation" paragraph. Red pill mode has to be on I believe.

Good luck

Please count me also on the list of who wasted a lot of time installing python 2.5, I post these few lines here since they maybe clarify a bit, it seems the python-bluez 2.5 package is broken and requires libbluetooth1 that was on mistral while on bora is libbluetooth2.

So, in order to install 2.5 on bora, you need to add mistral repository, this is why removing trailing extra, i.e. enabling normal mistral repository, solved the problem.

See the line that starts with 500 below

/ # apt-cache policy libbluetooth1
libbluetooth1:
Installed: 2.25-cvs20060428
Candidate: 2.25-cvs20060428
Version table:
*** 2.25-cvs20060428 0
500 http://repository.maemo.org mistral/free Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
