So far I have been unable to find one.

At least one that installs without jumping through hoops!

I couldn't find one either, ended up using a HTML one that was created by HTML Compiler from Bible Database. This link goes to where I got it from

I don't have an N800 yet, but this has already been mentioned on other threads:

This next one confuses me a bit, since I don't see clear-cut references to the N800:

Thats what I mean by jumping through hoops. To run those would be like useing a DOS program in Windows, Cumbersome and unneccesarally(sp) difficult.

With the number of excellant Bible programs available for the other PDA's or tablets I hope a Hildonized Bible will be forthcoming.

Online audio bible in NLT (New Living Translation), though KJV/NKJV also an option:

I found this link as a mini applet on another site, and it had the pleasant side-effect of opening 'full screen' when I surfed to it directly. On the N800, this full-screen behavior is perfect!

The only negative thing I can find is that when the screen blanker kicks in, silence ensues.

Hi there.

Rapier can be installed directly from a install file now .
http://hurdygurdy.dyndns.org/maemosword/

So there should be no more 'jumping through hoops' at installation stage.

However, it is still in developpment, so expects some bugs

Tim~

Were you successful installing the bible reader app? I am a bit of a Noob, and am not very savy to installing apps without the easy install links.

If anyone else was successful, a simple instruction set would be most helpful.

Thanks again.
