It's my first time when I have to use winscp with nokia n9 and I can not login , it says "access denied" because of wrong password . I have enabled developer mode .

so far I tried

u = root , p = rootme
u = devel-su , p = rootme

nothing worked ... also with putty I have the same problem

i didnt think you could login as root on winscp, unless you edit the config files to enable root access.

I just login as user, and then if i need root access use putty and just do devel-su

If you forget the password for user just do passwd user on your phone and change it

^ Correct. It's secure for a reason people.
Escalate if you "need" root privileges.
You're meant to operate as usr until you need root/devel-su.

please anyone know the password after typing "ssh user@localhost" ??

can someone please provide an answer/respond on how to work winscp or putty I'm totally clueless on how to work with linux/ubuntu and its commands.

My N9 is busted after meddling with Faster Darker Better Theme App. Currently my N9 cant go pass the black screen page that has 8 white cubes and 1 black cube that switches one after another between the 9 cubes (Could be a loading animation)

Additionally my phone is also stuck in the SDK setting whenever its usb is plugged in. I tried to find for people who are experiencing the same dilemma but ended to a dead end as these people aren't being answered/responded in a general way which doesn't really help.

according to the link it seems that I have to do this to get a fix but i cant get pass on the workings of these programmes.
I got to the part in Putty/winscp but cant seem to login.

from what i've gathered i think i need to enable some settings to grant me user access or something like that right? so i can be logged in but i am unsure on how to do it.

ps. i work winscp and putty on ubuntu as i cant seem to work it on windows7 as it cant detect the n9 via usb.

Anyway if you are using Ubuntu you can just open terminal and type:

and then do the commands...The ip address if connected via usb should be 192.168.2.15...
