http://home.eeti.com.tw/

i found on this website a solution-real dual touch (and multi
touch)
for resistive screen with support of arm devices
like the n900
and download

home>touch solutions>Analog Matrix Resistive

someone can port that project to the n900...........????

How does it work? Using the proximity sensor or tapping the other touch point first and then sliding accross screen?

hope you weren't intending to change the thread title to that! you'll get flamed like an overdone bk whopper round these parts! works fine as it is.

sounds interesting though...

Could you plz provide a full link the page you would like us to go to?

The moment I try to enter "Touch solutions" I am bounced back to the home page.

From site:

Analog Matrix Resistive (AMR) touch is similar as standard analog resistive touch, that there are two conductive coated films for X and Y layers with dot spacer in between. When an input (finger or stylus pen) touches the screen, two films are pressed and contacted with each other, thus the controller will calculate the coordinate of the touched point. The difference between AMR and standard resistive is that AMR supports real dual touch.
I don't know whether the n900 touch screen is AMR ?

However, there are drivers for kernel 2.6.* at - http://home.eeti.com.tw/web20/eGalax...inuxDriver.htm,

so, does anyone knows display specs for n900 ?"

Those are for x86 and x64 processors.

lets think about it for a second.

no official meego for n900 because of lack of features like multitouch...

...so sweet dreams or welcome to reality, you need another device for resistive multitouch.

If N900 came with EETI's touch panel control hardware these might be usefull, but it doesn't. By the way it support AMR (Analog Matrix Resistive) instead of ARM (Advanced RISC Machine).
