After factory reset I discovered my Nokia comes from Sweden.
I'm in the UK so I downloaded files from
https://archive.org/download/RM696/
Can I safely flash it? I don't want to end up with a brick.
EDIT: I can't. Downgrade disallowed

Trouble is that map data on EMMC image is older than last available 00.02.54.223 so you need to update it manually with data from here:

Hi

I installed the maps from http://maps.tienda-sistore.com/Maps.php onto my recommissioned N9 and they work beautifully!

Has anyone got any idea how to update the root certificates?

When I use the certificate installed on the UI, there is no option to install, just verify what the certificate will be used to validate.

When i checked the filesystem, /etc/ssl/certs is owned by ageis/cryptfs so i cant drop the certs in and try a manual update...

Thanks

Durney

Thread hijacking.
But afair the installation of certs was only possible with an open kernel (or maybe I am wrong).
I do not remember the command but something like cacert or similar can be used...

Apologies
Getting the certs installed is part of the recommissioning process for me but duly noted!

It rumors that acmcli (aegis hacked devices) or filebox can do.

Installing Security Certificates

n9. add new certificate?

Edit: how to remove certificates:
https://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?...67&postcount=4

Edit2: easy remove and install new certificates with aegis-certman-common-ca
