Hi all,

I am tinkering with an idea which would involve getting some form of contact with my webpage when I receive an incoming (phone) call on my n900. A simple ping, for instance, would suffice my first testing purposes, but the idea is that I can see online whether I have had calls on my phone or not.

I assume I need to look into the dbus documentation, but I have no idea what to look for. Hence the request for pointers, help, etc.

I'd recommend you use dbuscron as the daemon for triggering on dbus trips, and you can watch the IPC using `dbus-monitor`.

simplest way is just use dbus and make a simple python script that listen to incoming connection (try look at pycallblocker or similar apps, or here and here) and trigger ping whenever new calls triggered
