the ITT blog mentioned in a recent post that we can expect a "Navigation Software" update with the release of Diablo.

I haven't seen any speculation on this-

Is this expected to be simply an update to improve the acquisition time of the n810?

Or could it refer to a update to the wayfinder software that provides new functionality or a prettier GUI?

in an interview to a nokia person i've seen somewhere on-line, she stated that the update will mainly be on the UI.
probably more transparency...

A better designed UI while in tracking mode would be nice. The current UI wastes a LOT of screen space. Does the new version reset the 7-day trial, or can someone post a review of what's changed? If its more than just alpha-blending, I might consider purchasing.
