Nokia are a business and have chosen a path of using the OSS community phenomenon to reduce their overheads specifically after sales support and development. Unlike Apple who do the opposite and make a killing from their Applications store.

my karma hasn't moved for over a week now. mentioned that in community mailing list but thought I was only one suffering from it. It should work ok but it seems that there are some problems.

e: and naturally it is a good argument pro karma stalling, that I posted my question to mailing list (== karma increase) about a week ago, and still have same amount of karma.

Ah, so it's not only me then. Clearly this is a system wide conspiracy against selected few...

You need a certain karma level in order to get to vote for council members (which happens at some interval).

Yes, but how were they selected ? I'm stuck too, which proves the selection process is flawed :-)

(is this maybe related to the server moves ?...)
