why not using icons (instead of full text) like '+' and 'x' for new tab and close tab?

edit: can you also disable 360degree rotation?
270 degrees should be enough. (so turn off upside down view)
its annoying when you try to browse when laying on your side

Also, it would be good if in the overall settings it is possible to choose browser bahaviour when opening new windows. To choose either "switching right away to newly opened window" or to "open new windows silently in the background".

Or other, even greater feature - predefine bookmarks that can be opened all with one click in separate instances / windows.

Where would I use it - at work we have quite bad radio coverage in the basement where the smoking room is located. It takes ages to load web pages there. It would be perfect to open all my faworite sites with one click just before I go to the smoking room where I like to read all the news and forums while resting and smoking...

Would it be possible to make back and forward work with swipes instead of buttons?

Currently not possible as the window manager handles newly opened windows.

This is pretty hard because how do you want to differentiate between swiping a zoomed in page from left to right or vice versa and going back or forward.
I think this is also one of the reasons there is a toolbar in the original sailfish browser.

How about that (i have been saying this before in other thread)
2 finger swipe left or right is previous/next tab?
2 finger swipe down is close tab?
2 finger swipe up is add tab?

i would love this feature!!

and i do not mean to swipe from the edge of the screen.

I am not sure if it is even possible to detect two finger swipes and if it is it pretty much might conflict with the Flickable already in the webview.
So its a very complicated thing to implement.

If I recall correctly at least in Android applications two finger swipes are recognized. They might have been gestures from the edge. I think I used them when I tested Naked browser. Dont know about native applications.

Oh yes, 2-finger gestures are certainly good for one-handed use. Or rather not...
