I have a problem connecting Windows 8 computer to the internet using Nokia N9 as a usb modem.

At first all works fine. I have internet connection. After disconnecting USB cable and attaching it again (also choosin Sync and Connect option from phone) internet stops working despite my attempts to connect it again. Windows gives me Error 734 and can not connect to the internet. After removing and inserting back the sim card internet connacts again ´without problems. Settings remain same all the time. I change nothing in the phone or in the PC.

I have spent already 10 hours and can not solve it. Does anyone have idea what could be the problem and how to solve it without each time removing and reinstalling the sim card?

Thanks!

Anyone?

Or please suggest a command that I could use in Profilematic to simulate SIM removal and reinstall when USB charging is detected.

You could try
Code:
killall csd

You can try enabling all services for windows startup if you have disabled some of them. This was the problem for me in a similar case.

I am in open mode (of course ).

But a simple
develsh (without devel-su)
and I could do a killall csd as user.
Nevertheless could be related to open/closed mode, idk.

BUT but:

do NOT kill csd process, as this will render your mobile connections useless until reboot (at least my experience right now). On N900 csd was restarted automatically, on N9 it seems not. Even a /sbin/start csd did not bring back cellular functionalities, but gave me a heatened up blacked screen not reacting device.

So better do (as root):
/sbin/stop csd
sleep 1
/sbin/start/csd
