Dear Maemo community,

I am trying to pair the Nokia N9 to a Google Chromebook over Bluetooth to transfer some files. But the Google Chromebook (Chrome OS) does not list it. The developers responded:

ChromeOS filters the list of found Bluetooth devices shown in the UI to ones that have profiles that Chrome OS uses (HID, A2DP and HFP). Try scanning for a headset or keyboard (that are in pairing mode) and you should see them.
What profiles does the Nokia N9 support?

PS: The Jolla phone has the same problem.

(HID, A2DP and HFP)
Those are various quality audio connections (and not for keyboards). I suspect you haven't made it clear enough to the "developers" (helpdesk grunts more likely) that you want to transfer files.

A quick search suggests that as of 2020, ChromeOS does not support file tranfer via bletooth. But maybe there are hacks around it.
