Just an FYI, tax is added after you enter all shipping details

Is there any word on how we can find out if we're in the first batch?

Short question.
Was the price 720 euros before or my mind is playing tricks?

Your mind might be playing you tricks (or treats)
The price raised
Cosmo communicator also raised after pre orders and that is normal, i think

Of course opinions will vary and it may be important for other users, but there are no keyboard devices with perfectly uniform backlighting, let alone phones given that none of them have keyboards.
My Getac S400 G2 laptop does a pretty good job with the back lighting of the keyboard, and it has adjustable brightness.

Still, I can see some brighter and some dimmer spots in your photo.
And I can guarantee you that even my ROG Strix GL702zc that I bought last year for 1800€, has also some small spots that are brighter.
For me, if you have to take a close look to find it, it's not a problem. If you can clearly see it when you operate the device, then it is an issue

The post you're quoting was stupid, as there are plenty of keyboards with uniform lighting. The one I'm typing on does as well. It's just that those likely have an LED per key, and that doesn't scale all that well. Looking at the exploded view of the Pro1, it seems there are 21 LEDs spread around to light the entire keyboard. That already seems like it's the upper limit to me, I expected like 10.

Thanks for your kind words.

All I was saying is you will see some lighting differences among keys when you underexpose the photo, as was done in the Pro1 review people are referring to exactly because it was not so visible with normal exposure. The reviewer himself stresses it. It cannot be perfectly even unless every individual key has its own LED, which is not reasonable for a phone, and underexposed pictures emphasize the impression.

I'm typing this on a M6500 (with a NOS M6400 keyboard though) and even it's got a uniform backlight.

Seriously, the constant slipping of these minor things like this update email just completely destroys any credibility for promises fxtec makes. At this point I see no reason to believe they'll start shipping on the 29th. I'll be gladly surprised if they do, but I'd bet they'll ship sometime November, maybe December.
