today, in 2020 n810/Diablo work only those network apps that don't use ssl, and my guess is that is because of the old SSL library.

xmpp doesn't connect, i checked in my server logs - there are ssl problems. browser doesn't open https:// sites, but opens http sites.

i even guess it is not possible to update libssl on the device, because if i compile newer libssl, all the software is linked to the old one, and won't work.

anyone can confirm they experience the same, and are there solutions?

i think the solution is running some other OS, not Diablo, and I remember there were alternatives, there was a distribution which used Rox, or Razor desktop.
I even installed it and it worked on N810, but did not work on N810W, the kernel did not boot.

Hi! I using Fennec on my N800 and https sites work! I compile python 3.4 with standard SSL and work with vk api and it's work!
