How far advanced is the progress for getting sfdroid working on SFOS with CM12 base? Has the work on this already started? Or is this project eol through inappentency or lack if time?
Would like to know the current status only.

Which device?, Piggz got sfdroid (CM12.1 base) working on his Moto G, krnlyng has been working on sfdroid CM12.1 for the Nexus 4, which I believe is functional. I have been trying to sort out issues with my development machine and get working on sfdroid for the Nexus 5. So its very much not eol.

EDIT: forgot to mention some people working on porting sfdroid to the Oneplus X and the Fairphone 2.

Did anybody try to make sfdroid for Xperia 2011 devices (Neo, Ray, Mini, Pro, Mini Pro, Neo, Neo V, etc.)?

No, there is barely enough RAM for Sailfish by itself, once you enable the Android services alone you'll probably empty the ram, and that'll be before you start any apps.

EDIT: it barely works with 1GB, it only becomes usable with a device with 2GB ram and even then you can't have too many big apps open otherwise it runs out of ram too.

Maybe we can motivate the devs with a small donation? I'm very interesting on the Fairphone 2 port

Would it be possible to make sfdroid to run on Jolla-C and Intex aqua fish?
Would the Android version then be greater than 4.4 and be able to support different applications better?

Just a thought as I don't use/need android applications.

Jolla C and Intex device adaptation is 5.1, so sfdroid can be much better than stock
