I've just started making these.

There's another style going on eBay tomorrow which I think would better suit the n900. I'll post the link when I have it up

looks good, but I wouldn't buy it just for the fact that it doesn't suit my work station.
oh yeah, btw I liked how you emphasized it's not made in China XD

yeah, the built-in stand is pretty awful.

there's also another custom made stand with a more minimalistic design around that's specifically designed for the n900 (and I believe includes an extra stylus that stays with the stand): http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...=desktop+stand

the design of the other one was done with various options such as acrylic vs wood.

Wow, that looks nice! I also made a cell phone stand and, though not specific to the N900, I use it everyday for mine:

Very nice. Looks like good quality workmanship from the photos, a nice finish.

The one featured isn't but I've been using the other one with my son's irobot 7" and it's ok in landscape but a bit dodgy in portrait but I have every intention of making tablet size stands in the next few weeks.

The following link takes you to my other items. I will add a tablet stand hopefully in the next week.
