I had the same problem; given some time the app list reappeared
If you continue to have a problem you could try installing rootsh through this site and then run the following through terminal:
sudo apt-get update
Everything should reappear after that hopefully.

HI there,
its asking for a password when i type this command. Do you know what passord its looking for ? i don't have any password on my phone. Please advise.
This morning after updating my N900 I found a very strange thing.
There are no any more app in App Manager. Also after restore with my old settings, programs, etc. I do not have any app at all.
Tried to update App Manager, all catalogs are enabled, but there is no one app. The device is trying to update info in App Manager and after couple of minutes - it stops.
Now I do not have any app installed. Only darksky theme, but it is .deb file.
Does anyone has same problem?
I updated via flasher 3.5. And updated second time, but no luck.
Regards.
