I'm getting a repeated error:

"malformed database schema - unable to open a temporary database file for storing temporary files"

I have no idea how to fix this. When I click "ok," my 770 reboots.

Any help?

Seems to have been the GPESummary applet.

Any idea how I can get that applet back?

Delete the database file sounds like the best plan.

Probably in ~/.gpe/

- this assumes it's something to do with the GPE apps. Not sure why it would reboot the machine though. Do you get the same if you try to start the standalone apps (if you can).

Hrm. Yup. Seems to be affecting them all. Would a simple uninstall fix it?

Delete the database it uses to store its data - this will probably be left there if you try an uninstall

Anyone know where this is? I can't find it in ~/.gpe/

Bump. No one has any idea where the gpe database tables are stored?

You could try running lsof to see what files the GPE apps have open (assuming this is available somewhere), otherwise drop Florian or one of the other GPE devs a line and ask them. Actually you could always take a look at the source code and see where it creates the db too.
