I'll take your word considering that you're a Tab owner and I'm a Tab admirer .

7" with an Exynos is a killer package though. My question is why Gingerbread? I think it has something to do with the dpi (the smallish screen) more than anything. It's just a rumor, so hopefully this will change.

More reason to go higher resolution despite the number of inches.

Great graphics, and it seems that there is compelling play!

Almost identical to the PC version, and Tegra exclusive as of Jan.
Bah tegra exclusive my ***. I play tegra games on my SGSII thanks to chainfire3d.

The Tegra 2 version is loaded with more shaders and as such, prettier graphics, than other variants.

The game looks quite good.

It costs €7.99 in the app market, which is a bit steep. However, if it's a long and engrossing adventure, I suppose it would be worth it.
Installed this last night on the Transformer and turned on some extra graphic effects... it looks sweeet!!!

Still have to get used to the controls.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 gets reviewed by Ars, and gets slammed on software:

http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/revie...xy-tab-101.ars

Sounds like tablet 'optimized' apps are still few and far between.

While I love the activity/fragment model of development, a part of me thinks that it is still too complicated for developers to easily use. Android development seems to include many caveats and requires 'best practices' to produce effective code, which simply means that there are too many ways to do things incorrectly. This will hurt development numbers. Perhaps the UI team should go back to the drawing board and make it far easier to produce applications.

Is this the XOOM2 pictured in the latest Verizon ad?

It looks slimmer. Is this enough?

Indeed. But they're targeting Tegra 2 and most users won't know how to use chainfire3D to view content. Another bummer is that if developers start using proprietary texture-compression for textures with alphas, compatibility will suffer, even with chainfire.

I hope that it is using a 7" SAMOLED.

Companies in the UK are teaming up to compete with Google Wallet:

Competition is good! Here's hoping that choosing a provider is transparent for consumers (ie. you can link your credit-card to different services), and we don't get stuck using one companies solution.

Sony now offers a contending music streaming service called Qriocity for Android:

MARKET LINK: https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result
OFFICIAL SITE: http://www.qriocity.com/ca/en/

The prices are nice as well. $4/mo basic includes just streaming of your collection, and $10/mo premium lets you stream any song you want from the qriocity catalogue.

Not bad.
