I am thinking of buying a new card for n770 (sd soldered inside) and was wondering if class 6 will make any difference in USB transfer speeds between a desktop and n770.

OK. the answer is in the wiki,

No, the speed of a memory card is not important'.

Just edited the wiki some, as it was apparently out of date; specifically, there is a high-speed kernel for N8x0, so it's not quite as thought in the bootup section. I'm not sure if that invalidates any of the above points either, but I think it does matter more than anticipated. At any rate, you definitely want a classified card; unclassed ones may be quite slow, but class 2 is at least bearable.

Edit: Guess I didn't change it after all. It won't let me save changes, because of invalid chars in the title.
