I suppose that depends on whether or not that diagram works. :-)

I haven't tried that. I do have USB host working on my 770, but I have a USB hub that I've modified to put power into the 770, as well as the USB hub. (This hub doesn't "turn on" unless it senses power from the USB line, so I looped it's power from the batteries to the USB feed port.)

It would be interesting to see if it was true that I didn't need to do that.
