Hi,
I've a request for all the devs out there. I request someone to come up with a contact tracker app. For example, in blackberry we can simply choose a contact and view the full history of calls, sms etc sent/rec'd.
In N9 we dont have such a feature. It is useful to see exactly the number of times a communication with that contact occurred.
Also, the app could include storing history of call logs for longer periods (i.e. 365 days as in symbian belle or BB) instead of the maximum of 55 calls on the N9 currently.
I'm sure such an app could be sold at the ovi store for the dev to monetize his work.

The above is possible according to abustany on the contacts help thread by accessing the Tracker database and polling it to an app.

Thanks in advance, here's hoping that a dev is able to come up with the above.

Just after his response too you...
He recommends not creating an app that directly accesses the tracker DB

But a dev would probably be aware of this if they did their homework no doubt.
And may not be as much of an issue if it's only querying and not modifying etc.

You can also request here....

I believe there's also dedicated threads for requesting apps in some of the sub-forums here & at FMC.
But I'm not sure how much active devs screen them.

If after a while you're not able to drum interest, you could report it as I suggested
