After messing with the in game screen resolution I was unable to run exult for a second time. Are there any solutions available?

Did the same.

After resetting my config file rm /home/user/exult.cfg in xterm it was fine again.

Maybe I should disable that.

Darn..

Guess I really messed it up this time by deleting my .exult folder instead of the exult.cfg file!

Already figured reinstalling doesn't help, since Exult doesn't seem to recognise the gameplay files

Any ideas will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Is this better or do you want me to remove those links completely? Can't open the wiki currently.

The exult.cfg is actually .exult.cfg, maybe that's the problem? I already prepared a package with limited choice of resolutions.

Thanks Bundyo!

Sadly it was both the .exult.cfg and .exult folder I rm under /home

After uninstallation of Exult and Exult Digital Audio packages I also removed /home/blackgate and gameplay folders under /MyDocs

So I pretty much wiped everything out there.

Interesting part is relaunching after the reinstallation does not create .exult and blackgate folders under /home

Eventhough the Exult launches, it does not recognise the gameplay files, showing the default data files warning.

I'm now seeing it was not as simple as I thought
