Maybe this market is just more attractive...

To add another feather to its cap, Vertu, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nokia, has entered the lucrative smart phone segment of the industry by launching the Constellation Quest recently to much pomp and grandeur in London.

A concept phone will never "come". By definition, a concept phone is one that is described but will never be produced:

When a company wants to capture the most creative, optimistic ideas about what it might produce in the future, it produces a concept video.

There are no pesky constraints caused by technological limitations. The producers are free to include anything they can imagine in the video. It’s a glance into a future that might be.

Then, the designers step back into reality and see if they can move in that design direction with a real, practically achievable product.
More here.

The technology used for morph is speculated for the masses between 2012 and 2020.
With mass accessible nano-technology just around the corner I think we will begin seeing devices such as the morph in around 10-15 years.

The problem is not the technology,. it's making it affordable for the masses.

The N888 was and still is a concept, I think that's about as far as it goes or will ever go. Sad though as it is cool. I'd have one, it'd make an awesome watch!
